Ozone Therapy

Ozone was discovered over 150 years ago. Nikola Tesla was the first to patent an ozone generator in 1896. Ozone (O3) is a naturally occurring energy-rich molecule embodying unique biological properties. Ozone has a long history of being used to treat internal and external infections, sterilize medical equipment, and purify water. In addition, it is known to have well-documented effects on reducing inflammation throughout the body, leading to anti-aging effects.

What are the benefits of Ozone?

Ozone has been proven to have antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. It can benefit those with more severe conditions such as cancer, chronic pain, neurogenerative diseases, complex chronic infections like Lyme disease, heart disease, and respiratory disorders. There are even peer-reviewed journals on the benefits of Ozone regarding the COVID-19 virus as supportive therapy in recovery. Ozone increases an important antioxidant in the body called glutathione, stimulates the immune system, and decreases viral replication and pain. It also improves wound healing and healthy collagen production, supports healthy hair growth, reduces nerve pain, and enhances cellular energy. It can be used alone or with other treatment protocols to help the body regain balance. It is genuinely anti-aging and restorative medicine, strengthening the body’s ability to heal.

How is Ozone administered?

Ozone is delivered in-office through intravenous routes directly into the vein (10-pass method, MAH), subcutaneous injection trigger point injections, intramuscular injection, and into joints/tissues where there is pain/injury called Prolozone. It can also be used in body cavities for inflammatory bowel disease conditions, chronic vaginal infections, and bagged ozone gas around chronic wounds on the body. In addition, Ozonated water can be consumed, and ozonated oil applied topically for wound healing.

Is Ozone right for me?

Medical Ozone has little to no serious side effects. However, it needs to be administered by medical staff who are formally trained in Ozone delivery. Dr. Julia Greenspan has been trained by Dr. Frank Shallenberger and Dr. Robert Rowen in MAH, Hyperbaric 10-pass Intravenous Ozone, and Prolozone.

If patients are treating conditions such as Tick-borne infections or mold biotoxin illness, symptom flares may occur after treatment signaling the infections are detoxing from the body. These are very common with any treatment for these types of chronic infections, but this means the body is reducing the pathogen or toxin load in the body. Most patients feel very relaxed after the treatment.
